 FAQs

  • Students have the ability to choose the frequency and duration of their tutoring sessions. That said, we recommend scheduling one-hour sessions either weekly or fortnightly to maintain high levels of growth, engagement, and productivity.

  • Our tutors work on their own schedule and based off their own availability. If students would like a session early in the morning or late at night, they are encouraged to ask their tutor for their availability.

  • Sessions can be conducted online via Google Meet or in-person at REALM library (179 Maroondah Hwy, Ringwood VIC 3134).

  • All tutors at L2S were ranked in the top 9% in the state for VCE English and hold a valid Working with Children’s Check (WWCC), which can be presented upon request.

  • All payments are securely made by direct bank transfer.

After the first session, students will be sent an email containing the payment information. The amount owed must be paid by the end of the week as their next session cannot commence until the payment has been processed. Please note that L2S does not accept cash payments.

For your convenience, students/parents are encouraged to pay for 10 sessions in bulk, eliminating the need to arrange payment on a weekly basis. As a no-lock-in-contract tutoring company, any unused funds will be refunded to the nominated account if students choose to discontinue tutoring at any time.

  • No, there is no lock-in contract. Students are welcome to stop/pause tutoring at any time. Students may also swap tutors if their learning style does not align with who they are initially assigned.
